This policy describes how chemicssConnect handles personal information. chemicssConnect is a private staff operations platform for the free chemicss Roblox community.

  1. 1. Scope

    This policy applies to information processed through chemicssConnect. The platform is for provisioned staff only. Public pages such as this policy, the Terms of Service, and the sign-in screen do not require an account to view.

  2. 2. Information we collect

    Depending on how you use the service, we may process:

    • Discord and account information: Discord user ID, username, global name, avatar, account status, preferences, and session information.
    • Roblox information: Roblox user ID, username or display name, avatar, community rank or role, and relevant verification information.
    • Staff and operational information: Information created through staff workflows such as activity, shifts, assignments, evaluations, applications, leave, moderation, and related records.
    • Technical and security information: Login and session information, browser information, security logs, and audit records.
    • Uploaded content: Files or attachments uploaded through relevant Chemicss workflows.

  3. 3. How we use information

    We use this information to:

    • Authenticate users and keep signed-in sessions secure.
    • Link and verify Discord and Roblox identities.
    • Manage staff access and permissions.
    • Operate staff and community workflows.
    • Maintain security and operational records.
    • Investigate misuse or security issues.
    • Maintain and improve the service.

  4. 4. Legal bases

    Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, we may rely on legitimate interests (operating chemicssConnect, managing staff, security, and community administration, balanced against your rights), steps needed to provide sign-in and access you request, compliance with legal obligations where they apply, and consent only when that is the right basis for optional processing.

  5. 5. Sharing of information

    We may share information with the following providers as needed to operate the service. They process information as necessary to provide their services and have their own privacy practices. Authorized staff may see information about you only to the extent their permissions allow. Chemicss does not sell personal information.

    • Discord — authentication and Discord integrations.
    • Roblox — Roblox identity and community information.
    • Bloxlink — Discord-to-Roblox verification where used.
    • Hetzner — application and server hosting.
    • Cloudflare R2 — file and object storage.
    • Google — only where an administrator connects Google for certain operational tools.

  6. 6. Retention

    We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, manage the community, maintain security, and preserve appropriate staff and operational history. Deprovisioning removes access and signed-in sessions, but does not necessarily erase historical records immediately.

  7. 7. Security

    chemicssConnect uses authenticated sessions, permission controls, session invalidation when access ends, and audit logging. No online service is completely secure. Treat staff records as confidential and do not share access to your account.

  8. 8. Your rights

    Under applicable data protection law, you may be able to ask for access to information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask us to restrict or stop certain processing, or raise a concern with a data protection authority. We may need to confirm who is asking, and we may not be able to action every request in full where keeping information is needed for security, staff operations, or the rights of others.

  9. 9. Children

    chemicss operates within Roblox and Discord, and some users may be under 18. chemicssConnect is a private staff platform and is not a public social network or a product generally aimed at children.

  10. 10. International transfers

    Our hosting providers and other service providers may process information outside your country. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for those cross-border transfers.

  11. 11. Cookies and sessions

    chemicssConnect uses necessary cookies and session technologies to keep you signed in, secure authenticated areas, and remember relevant preferences such as theme or timezone. These are not advertising cookies.

  12. 12. Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy when chemicssConnect changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will be revised when we do. Significant changes may also be communicated through the platform or the official Discord server where appropriate.
